Former Texas A&M point guard Avery Johnson Jr. will play for his father at Alabama. First-year Crimson Tide coach Avery Johnson announced Monday that his son is switching Southeastern Conference schools. The Alabama coach says he is ''thrilled as both a coach and a father'' to have the guard join the program, praising his son's character and skill-set.
