Yusmeiro Petit vs Zach Duke

Petit has struggled against Pittsburgh (especially in his last outing against them).

I am in a vbookie tailspin. I think I have won about 3 of my last 15 bets. Who could have guessed Petit would have a night like this?

CY had a nice game. CS did not (unless you count catching a shut out).

Usually my guaranteed bet is to bet the opposition when Petit pitches. Thankfully I signed on too late to bet; other, I'd be broke

I haven't watched the D-Backs recently, but they seem to be playing better. What do you guys think of Hinch's job so far as manager? Is that part of the difference or was it still a bad choice?

Hard to say... When he was first brought in and the D-backs still had a legit shot at the post season, the team sucked just as much as they did under Melvin...
Now, when they have nothing to play for, suddenly the team looks very, very good. Who knows... Let's just enjoy the moment and hope that next season they can somehow improve in the areas that are so glaring (First Base, Centerfield, depth in the pen...), and carry this type of play into a time when W's actually matter!

;)

Yeah that tends to happen when there's no pressure to win. Looking forward to next season with Jackson back.

Oh this isn't good...

Nice come from behind win tonight. Only 10 games under right now with plenty of games left to be played. I felt a bit of a change before the All Star break with this team. The bullpen has actually been doing quite a bit better and this team is hitting the ball when it needs to. Not exactly out of the WC picture yet and hopefully this team can at least get back to .500 before the end of the year.
