Since tomorrow is the first round of the draft here is my final attempt at being completely wrong. So here goes nothing.

1. Rams- Ndamukong Suh, DT, Nebraska
After trading Adam Carriker yesterday they opened a good sized hole on their defensive line. I thought this was going to be Bradford for the longest time but after hearing they won’t have a contract done ahead of time before the draft it put this little thought in my head that they really don’t want him. I am sure they want to trade out of here (Cleveland most likely) but if they can’t they will go with Keith Null who they were high on last season. Next year’s QB class is very good (Jake Locker, Ryan Mallett, and Andrew Luck) so they feel getting the best player this year will benefit them more than going for a guy who in other years probably won’t go number 1.

2. Lions- Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma St.
If the Rams take Bradford then the Lions will take Suh, but in this scenario they decide that protecting Stafford is better than going for Gerald McCoy. As I have said before I think the Lions are going to make a big jump in the standings this season and Okung will help them the most.

3. Buccaneers- Gerald McCoy, DT, Oklahoma
The Bucs are going to come out of this draft with one of the two top DTs. In almost ever scenario it will end up being McCoy, though that isn’t a bad thing.

4. Redskins- Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma
The Redskins are going to take a tackle here, whether it be Williams or Okung should he fall. I also believe this is where the first trade may happen. Should Bradford begin to slip teams like the Browns are going to try and move up and get him. I don’t like projecting trades so I won’t here, but if the draft should look like this through the first three picks I would imagine the Redskins’ phones will be ringing off the hook. They need some picks so it would be smart of them to move down.

5. Chiefs- Sam Bradford, QB, Oklahoma
I know this will surprise people but Matt Cassell isn’t the answer in Kansas City. Yes they paid him a ton but they won’t go very far with him at the helm of that offense. If they take Bradford they could easily have him sit for a year as they try to use this draft and next years draft to rebuild the line and give Bradford a good chance of succeeding in 2011.

6. Seahawks- Bryan Bulaga, OT, Iowa
The Seahawks can go in any direction here. Do they go with the best player in Eric Berry, go with an outstanding RB in C.J. Spiller, DE to replace Kerney in Derrick Morgan, or go after a QB of the future in Jimmy Clausen. In the end they beef up their offensive line and take Bulaga.

7. Browns- Eric Berry, S, Tennessee
The Browns have to decide if they want to move up to get Bradford or if Jimmy Clausen will be a good pro. If they don’t trade up and sit where they are at they have to go for Berry. He may be the best player in this draft and as I mentioned earlier next year will be a much better QB class. Better to save your picks and get a stud for your defense.
8. Raiders- Bruce Campbell, OT, Maryland
Al Davis could surprise everyone and take Dez Bryant or even Jimmy Clausen but he goes the sudo smart route and takes an OT even though he shouldn’t be drafted this high.

9. Bills- Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
The Bills supposedly want Tebow and 9 is way too high for him. They will probably seriously look at Clausen but they need to help both sides of their line. Dan Williams probably should be the pick, but the early run on OT causes them to panic and draft Davis too high. They may be able to trade out of this spot if someone wants Clausen.

10. Jaguars- Derrick Morgan, DE, Georgia Tech
They take Morgan and team him up with Aaron Kampman and their front 7 becomes pretty good. C.J. Spiller could be considered as well as Dez Bryant, but Del Rio is a defensive guy and they have to face Payton Manning twice so defense wins out.

11. Broncos- Rolando McClain, LB, Alabama
The Broncos have a ton of needs and would be best served trading back to someone who wants Clausen but in the end they go with McClain who will immediately start and help their defense.

12. Dolphins- Dan Williams, DT, Tennessee
The Dolphins need help on the defensive side of the ball. This will probably be between Williams, Jason Pierre-Paul, and Joe Haden. Williams is the best prospect of the three so he gets the nod.

13. 49ers- Joe Haden, CB, Florida
The 49ers need help in the secondary so they will look at Haden and Earl Thomas. Since Haden is more of a corner than Thomas is he will be the pick.

14. Seahawks- Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, USF
The Seahawks may go with C.J. Spiller here to help out their offense but they need someone who can get to the QB and take Pierre-Paul to try and replace Kerney.

15. Giants- C.J. Spiller, RB, Clemson
This is kind of shocking but their backs weren’t great last year. This will give them some explosiveness of that offense that doesn’t have much.

16. Titans- Brandon Graham, DE/LB, Michigan
Titans need help getting to the QB and Graham does that quite well. Seems like a good fit.

17. 49ers- Jimmy Clausen, QB, Notre Dame
If Clausen were to fall this far I can’t see the 49ers not taking him. There is no way they have a ton of confidence in Alex Smith or David Carr and Clausen should be able to step in mid-year should he be asked to.

18. Pittsburgh- Maurkice Pouncey, C/G, Florida
The Steelers need to help that offensive line. They have to take one of the available guys.

19. Falcons- Everson Griffen, DE, USC
Falcons need help on their defensive line and Griffen can get to the QB.

20. Texans- Earl Thomas, S, Texas
Texans need secondary help. They chose Thomas over Kyle Wilson. They may be tempted to take Ryan Mathews but I think they would be better served taking Thomas and then going after Toby Gerhart in the 2nd round.

21. Bengals- Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma
The Bengals will have to decide do they take a physical freak like Taylor Mays, go after a guy with issues like Dez Bryant, or go for some help on the defensive line with a guy like Bryan Price or Jared Odrick. I think they surprise people and take Gresham to help Carson Palmer out. They didn’t get Owens like I thought they would but putting Gresham out there with Ochocinco will give Palmer a couple of good options.

22. Patriots- Dez Bryant, WR, Oklahoma St.
Randy Moss isn’t getting any younger and Wes Welker is hurt. Bill Belichick is arrogant enough to try this out and it could very well turn out to be a stroke of genius. There is no denying Bryant’s talent but he is a head-case which cause him to fall this far.

23. Packers- Mike Iupati, OG, Idaho
The Packers need all the help on the offensive line they can get. Iupati falls into their lap and they happily bring their card up.

24. Eagles- Kyle Wilson, CB, Boise St.
The Eagles traded away Sheldon Brown and it wasn’t like their secondary was all that great to begin with.

25. Ravens- Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Penn St.
Should Wilson fall to 25 I would imagine the Ravens would go after him. I could easily see Sergio Kindle picked here as well, but in the end I think they go with defensive line since they don’t have a ton of depth there.

26. Cardinals- Sean Weatherspoon, LB, Missouri
Personally I want Kyle Wilson but I don’t see how he would fall to us. Should Weatherspoon be off the board then I say we try to trade down to some team that wants McCoy or Tebow but in this scenario we get the guy we wanted all along.

27. Cowboys- Charles Brown, OT, USC
I could easily see Jerry trading up to get Dez Bryant but if he stays put the Cowboys need help on the offensive line. They may look at Taylor Mays or Sergio Kindle but in the end Brown is the better fit for them.

28. Chargers- Ryan Mathews, RB, Fresno St.
They could be tempted to take Terrence Cody or Brian Price or any other DT but they still have the 40th pick in the draft which one of those guys will probably fall too. They are able to use their first pick on a RB to replace Tomlinson.

29. Jets- Taylor Mays, S, USC
The Jets could use a safety and Mays has the talent to succeed. I could see them going after a receiver like Demaryius Thomas or Golden Tate.

30. Minnesota- Devin McCourty, CB, Rutgers
The Vikings could use some help along the offensive line and defensive line as well but their secondary will get helped out first.

31. Colts- Brian Price, DT, UCLA
They could go with some help on the offensive line but I don’t think there is a guy who is worth taking at this point.

32. Falcons- Sergio Kindle, DE/LB, Texas
They have a need at linebacker and Kindle is a good prospect.

The rest of the Cards picks:
58- Ricky Sapp, LB, Clemson
Cards continue to add to their defense. We may try to trade up to get Cody but I don’t think we want to give up picks.

88- Mardy Gilyard, WR, Cincinnati
Gilyard will be able to take over punt duties from Breaston and could turn into a good WR in the future.

89- Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, CB, IUP
Another small school athletic CB to add to our roster. Is a good return man as well. If he is already taken then we should target Walter Thurmond who was a first round talent before getting hurt last season.

123. Jevan Snead, QB, Ole Miss
Snead came into this season as a first round draft pick. He proceed to have a horrible year and for some stupid reason went into the draft. I would consider him in the 3rd round as well but we get good value in the 3rd and hope he falls to the 4th round.

195. Jay Ross, DT, East Carolina
Has the size to be a NT and gives us some more depth on the defensive side of the ball.

233. Kyle Bosworth, LB, UCLA
Yes the Boz’s nephew. Gives us some more depth.
