The No. 2 UConn Huskies dominated the No. 10 South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Monday, 91-57, and advanced to the Sweet 16 to face No. 3 Oklahoma.
Huskies star Paige Bueckers continued her March domination against the Jackrabbits, scoring 34 points on 14-of-21 shooting with three rebounds, four assists, four steals and zero turnovers.
Teammate Azzi Fudd, who scored 17 in the round of 32 matchup, praised Bueckers and what she brings to the Huskies on and off the court.
"It's incredible to watch. You almost feel sorry for the other team ... When Paige is locked in, there's nothing you can do to stop her.
"It doesn't matter what shot she takes. The ball is going to go in. ... She makes it look so easy. We all have all the trust in the world in her."
Bueckers is widely considered to be a lock for the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, which is scheduled for April 14.

The 6-foot guard was the 2021 Naismith College Player of the Year and a two-time unanimous first-team All-American.
On Tuesday, Fudd announced her decision to return to UConn for another season. The 5-foot-11 senior missed nearly all of the 2023-24 season with an ACL tear. This season she averaged 13.4 points, 2.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 25.3 minutes per game.
