If Amos is truly BA's friend Amos will resign at season's end. I'm told BA's contract guarantees he can name his coaches, so Keim & Bidwil cannot fire Amos unless they fire BA.

You know if you guys are going to blast me and make it personal ....atleast give me credit where credit is due. I see things like this early and yes I may be obnoxious about it....but I usually post right after I'm really pissed and no I don't drink and watch football. Seriously. I was called idiotic...dumb. Classless...etc. and now that more is coming out....BA is his own worst enemy. I played college sports and I coach an elite girls AAu basketball team. so I know sports. Yes my posts are sometimes harsh and pissy...but the opinions are usually right . When you see things that constantly don't make sense in games ....the writing on the wall it usually stems to the head coach.

Saying that...I like or liked BA. But what he was doing worked ....the key is....it isn't any more...and he had to be man enough to adjust or change. I don't think he will....so I say if the off season he doesn't get rid of Amos. They all go.

You can either follow the crowd and be lost among many...or step outside and make a stand ;)

I think Michael Bidwill is the key and could make it happen. If he sits down and has a heart to heart talk to Bruce about getting a new Special Teams coach, BA will listen to him. He will hate doing it but will go along and ask Amos to resign.

Hmmmmmm. Where are all the people that were blasting me. Yes fired might have been harsh right now.....but I have a funny feeling if this blows up in the teams face.....and only if it does. I bet we wished we would have handled this sooner. BA is taking no responsibility and backing coaches and players who have no business being in this business. I see others on here following the bread crumbs toward why Arians was skipped over in Pittsburgh. Guys we have a team loaded with talent that a few coaches in the NFL would have 10-3 right now. Tampa and New England are not more talented. Heck New England loses its best player and they go out and score 30 on the number 1 defense. Green bay cant walk and chew gum 4 weeks ago....and now look unbeatable. Same with Pittsburgh and Tampa. It's how you coach and adjust!!!!

Still here. Dont like Amos of Arians handling of him. Still think the fire him talk is premature. Thats not going to change.

Ditto. And even though I want Amos replaced, I really don't care as long as the ST part of our game improves.

Somers has an interesting take on this:

http://www.azcentral.com/story/spor...-decisions-may-mean-rough-offseason/95379794/

this is so spot on. Again, i just cant beleive that Arians emphatic statement on Amos Jones reflected the consensus view of the front office

it puts Mike B (especially) on the spot
Thanks for posting this! Good article. I read it and then got pulled into the history of Card draft picks since 1954. Some great ones and some duds I had forgot about. Also liked the mock draft link. One writer picks Kizer as the Cards 1st rounder. I think that guy could be great with a year of learning the playbook and studying under Palmer.

This is a great point. If Amos is a man of integrity he's got to recognize he failed Bruce miserably this year and didn't earn his keep. A good friend sees his buddy under fire here and resigns.
