Carlos Quentin is already off to a hot start. If he continues his hitting I would not be surprised to see him in a Diamondback uniform after July. I definitely see Carlos replacing Gonzo next year in the starting line-up.

It will be interesting to see in Conor Jackson will be a first baseman when he gets to the majors.

The future is very bright, plus Glaus I think is only 28 and Green 32. If the Diamondbacks can either sign a top pitcher or develop some through the minors, they will be contending for the playoffs for years to come.

They are at a stand still, the Diamondbacks representatives are supposed to make another effort when in LA later this month, though.
