With a group, great. Much fun is had mocking the ineptitude and many an inside-joke is born.

By yourself, bad idea. Worst idea maybe.

I feel like I wasted watching some poorly-made films the other day, which I got from Netflix (among them Blood Feast). It was horrendous and I know it's never the same when you watch a movie with a group after seeing it already. I may have lost the chance for this one to become a classic in my yearly Execrable Film Festival.

Save "Prey" for when your friends are over. That movie came in my netflix and I feel like I died a little inside because I watched it.

For the all time best drinking/cheesy movie get your hands on a copy of "Bleeders". It's a movie about incestual trolls and it has Rutger Hauer in it. It really doesn't get much better than that.

Don't forget about Fear.com. I was stupid enough to actually pay to see it!

Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle is a fun group movie that I enjoyed.

Show Girls is probably the worst movie ever... but don't miss it.

Jason X = Wost of the bad movies.

I don't like horror films... can't watch them.

But I can sit down to Jason X like it's a sequal to Dumb and Dumber and just laugh til it hurts

Attack of the Killer Tomatoes (original) is a great party flick.

I really love all the Ed Wood classics. Plus Manos Hands of Fate. Amazingly awful. But the difference between these and many bad movies, is that a lot of really campy ones were made tongue in cheek (like Leprechaun). The ones I listed were sincere. That's what makes them even worse and even more amusing, I think.

I also really like Ed Wood in that he pursued a dream, even though he probably shouldn't have. And because he was so bad at it, he'll be remembered forever. He has carved himself into the rock of history. But if he had been even mediocre, he would have been forgotten. So the lesson is, if you're not good, be as bad as possible. Only the apex and the nadir are remembered.

I thought the Cube was soul suckingly bad in it's seriousness.

Me too.

Bad, but extremely weird and funny (unintentional perhaps?).

Nah..... Watch it again.... If you look carefully, you can catch a few looks into the camera. Pure, intentional camp.

BTW, I, too, have KKFOS on DVD. ;)
