Of course, Victor Cruz and Jared Allen were also on this list, but...

Running Back: Ryan Williams, ARZ (-3.7)

Sometimes a stat line can really tell it all, sometimes context is required; this was a little of both. The Cardinal back was only on the field for 20 snaps, had eight rushes for 9 yards and a fumble, and also gave up a quarterback hurry, but also suffered from some of the worst run blocking imaginable. Impressively unimpressive.

Tackles: LT, D’Anthony Batiste, ARZ (-9.6) and RT, Guy Whimper, JAX (-6.1)

And you thought Levi Brown was bad? I once stated it would be impossible for the Cards to get any worse play from a tackle than the 2009-2010 Brown, but Batiste is off to a great start in proving that comment foolish. Another player who would struggle to surpass his issues from last year is Whimper. Forced into the lineup because of injury, he still suffers from the dreaded ‘turnstilitis’.

Center: Lyle Sendlein, ARZ (-3.8)

When Brandon Mebane is on form he can be a tricky player to stop. If you don’t believe me, just ask Sendlein. The Cards’ center had a tricky day with him, and then compounded that by getting called for two penalties, giving up a tackle for a loss and getting beat for another tackle for a short gain.

Outside Linebackers: Nick Perry, GB (-6.6) and O’Brien Schofield, ARZ (-5.1)

Not the best way to start your NFL career for Perry. He came up empty rushing the passer, was poor in the run game, and gave up four receptions on four balls thrown into his coverage. That can be life as a rookie, an excuse Schofield doesn’t have. He did at least pick up a hit and a hurry but you’d be forgiven for not realizing he was on the field such was the irregularity with which he got any push.

I understand it is just a title for a "team" of bad players across the NFL, not the Cardinals team, since this is just 19% of the Cardinals' team.

We won - I will take a win in leu of 4 bad personal performances every week.

Thanks for posting tho. Good read.

Most surprising is Schofield. I am not surprise how poor he is against the run, but the lack of pressure against the pass is. We are not alone in this thought since Andre Carter was brought in for an evaluation.

The least surprising? Sendlien. No shock at all he was dominated by a good DT. NONE.

Yup, the guy is nice and all, but he gets the BIGGEST pass on ASFN. He is mediocre at best.

Wow, you are nice.

He's undersized and overwhelmed. I can't believe we haven't upgraded the center position simply because he's passable.

He's a hard worker and a good guy, but I would think we could upgrade there.

Not surprised at all with scho... The guy hasent played in pre season since the chieF game and was limited in practice right up until first game. Doubtful he has his wind or game legs under him yet. But if he's not improving week to week ill get worried.

I have not been a fan of Sendlien for a long time, but at least he does not tip snap counts like he used to do. So he has shown some improvement.

Does anyone else understand the complete dis-regard for the O-Line? The cards constantly sign the worst talent in the league, and they follow that up with drafting very questionable talent in the latter rounds of the draft -- it's dumbfounding -- especially for one of the most important aspects of a football team. If a coach like Belicheck had this unit, you can almost guarantee most of them would be cut on the spot, and he would probably focus the entire draft on solidifying those positions -- very frustrating.

it makes very little sense. I mean, they literally did NOTHING at RT except let go an already horrendous RT and go with the guys who couldn't beat his horrendous ass out.

Sendlein is limited, and it seems the team is comfortable with those limitations. I would like to see the team pursue an OC who is stronger at point of attack, but there are obviously bigger holes that need to be filled on this team.

As far as the rest of the line, it is not pretty. The worst part of it is the Cardinals have addressed their issues on the offensive line, but they have addressed with subpar players in my opinion (especially on the interior). One thing to consider is QB play has a direct influence on the overall evaluation of an offensive line. We have had poor and inconsistent play from our QB position which is why it is no surprise our offensive line production has also been poor and inconsistent.

As far as Schofield, he was bad on Sunday. He was consistently baited to take an inside move on plays where he looked to be responsible for outside containment and fell for it resulting in longer gains because his inside help had farther to go. Honestly, he should be a situational rusher at this point and even then, he has yet to show me anything. This is a position that should be the top priority in the offseason behind QB unless something drastically changes.

I try not to think of it because it makes my brain explode. I do have hopes for Massie, however, but they lucked into that even if it ends up paying off.

I am drinking the Massie kool-aid. The kid had a decent first pro game and I truly believe he can only get better from here. Might be some growing pains along the way, but I think he'll develop into a solid starter.

What worries me is the guard play. Our middle 3 were supposed to be the strength of the line (relatively speaking), but they are getting pushed around. We need upgrades in the middle. Maybe Kelemente provides a partial answer down the road.

Did Kelemente get any playing time last game to get an idea of his play?

Hey dick writer, there were other teams who played this week.

He was obviously watching the AZ game VERY closesy. So Batiste is the worst LT in the NFL right now? Id thought this guy wouldve noticed RUSSELL OKUNG false start 3 times.
