Baker Mayfield had great reply to question about OSU flag planting

, USA TODAY Published 6:28 p.m. ET April 27, 2018 In his introductory press conference, the Browns' No. 1 draft pick quarterback Baker Mayfield got a question about planting the Oklahoma flag on Ohio State's logo after beating OSU back in September. A reporter asked if Mayfield had anything to say to Ohio State fans. The 23-year-old QB smiled and had this to say about the incident, now that former Buckeye Denzel Ward, who the Browns picked at No. 4, is his new teammate: Mayfield: "You guys forget that they came to Norman and whooped up on us. It's 1-1, so I'm gonna have to get (Denzel Ward) in practice." Ward: "Like he said, we got him the year before, so he got us back, though, with the flag."
