Barcelona Have €180M-Rated Liverpool, PSG Target as Perfect Robert Lewandowski Replacement
The winter transfer window has closed, and for now, Alexander Isak stays with Newcastle United. Although there wasn’t much talk of a move in January, reports suggest that several clubs, including PSG, may make another push for him this summer.
An earlier report from RMC Sport stated that PSG was ready to offer Gonçalo Ramos, Randal Kolo Muani, and Marco Asensio in a swap deal to bring Isak to Paris.
Liverpool has also been linked to the Swedish striker. Sky Switzerland journalist Sacha Tavolieri said the club has already opened talks with his representatives.
The Reds are reportedly preparing a major bid for Isak and are willing to depart from their usual transfer strategy to sign the 25-year-old forward.
Previous reports indicated that Newcastle set Isak’s price at €180 million (£150 million), making him Liverpool’s record signing, surpassing the £85 million they paid for Darwin Nunez in 2022.
