LOL

I was listening to Chuck and Vince this week and they had a great take on the situation. Chuck basically called the Heat players "too sensitive." DWade's immediate response was to avoid talking about it and avoid Barkley completely. Chuck and Vince said "Oh, sure...that'll kill the idea that you're too sensitive." :D

You and all the Bulls fans were preaching Chuck's gospel about how the Heat had no chance.. The Bull's fans aint around no more.. Mulli and banky is MIA..

Im just saying.. And I love Chuck..

Go Heat!
Heat are going to have to play the Bulls for years to come now, and I think it will be more even every year. Boozer was a bust and Noah was streakier than my kids underoos. Teams will set them selves up to beat the Meat just like teams did against San Antonio, LA, and Boston.

Miami does have the best roster by far and if they are smart they can stay one step ahead of everybody else. Da Bulls and NY will build just to beat Miami, and the Heat beat a half ass Boston team. I see your Heat getting 2 maybe 3 rings together. That aint bad.

Oh crap.. why didnt I realize that was a possibility? Dammit.. You got me, you are so clever..

Why so sarcastic?
I do realize that LBJ in terms of basketball definitely belongs in royal family, but "King" title not suits his personality. "Queen" or "Princess" from the other hand...

He'd make one butt-ugly princess.

??? Yes, and the best way to make it fair is to let the players pick their own teammates???

In another thread, somebody suggested a trade that would send Noah/ Deng/ Picks to Orlando for Dwight Howard. I'd be excited if the Bulls could pull it off.

That would be the best PG/C combo since Shaq/ Penny, but far better defensively. Surround these guys with some players that can defend and knock down open threes, and the Bulls will give Miami a run for their money.

Probably not realistic... if Howard goes, we all know where he'll end up.

Too bad the Bulls lost. I won't bother watching the Finals with these two teams. It's like watching the Lakers vs the Celtics, I don't dislike them as much but it's pretty close. The NBA is not much fun these days. If you sell t-shirts you get calls.

The payoffs, it's faaantastic.

because it would have been more fun to watch the bulls play some more 1 on 5 basketball with the game on the line? I think people were already saying in the pacers series that their play could only make it so far. I actually thought the bulls could beat miami, but I was wrong.

now miami just has more players that they can turn to with the game on the line. and that is the difference with these two teams in the finals. they have dirk and james who are great closers. but both teams have help in scoring and guys that will take and make big shots.

He said why he didn't want to watch, and I feel the same way.

Plus, I don't think the Mavs do any better against the Meat. Bulls lost the series 4-1, I say the same thing happens with Dallas. Maybe a wager would make the Finals interesting?

the odds at the MGM grand are 20 to 1 that dallas will sweep. if they sweep you could make a lot of money.

I don't think this series will be nearly as boring as if the bulls were in the finals playing against anyone. I think dallas might win it in 5...wishful thinking?

No worries, I'd be saying the same thing if the Suns were rep'n the West. :)

I hope I'm wrong, but this could be dallas' last shot. so it's probably now or never. too many good teams on the rise (including this heat team which will get better).

The problem is, at least IMHO, is that the NBA playoffs are the "least fair" of all the major sports. When you are talking five man teams, concentrating the best players on a handful of teams takes almost all of the suspense out of the playoffs. Sure, you have the occasionally surprising series results, like Griz beating the Spurs, but you can almost always call the winner out of two or three teams going into the thing.

The LOWEST NBA seed to ever win a title was Houston, a 6th seed, in 1995. Which as Suns fans, we should all remember too well. That was our second best shot at title, along with the 1979 team that lost a chance to close out the Sonics on our home floor in game 6.

Only one 8th seed, and, I believe, no 7th seeds, have ever made the Finals.
