He is just blatantly lying at this point. Still saying Lindley played exceptional vs Seattle and great today. Veterans must be rolling their eyes.
Lindley played a very good game today. strong showing for the dude.
d shat the bed and didn't give him the win he deserved. he even had a good first half vs. seattle before crapping the bed himself in the second half (of another game the d shat the bed in as well).
Lindley played a good game?? He threw 3 picks and should have thrown another 4. Aaron Rodgers has thrown like 3 all year!!!!
What would you have him do? Throw the guy who's likely starting in our wild card game under the bus to the media? To what end?
Rodgers is a muffing hall of famer.
cheese and crackers, at least compare Lindley to his peer set, you know, other 4th string QBs called in to run a playoff team.
All I heard him say was Lindley played well enough to win. Which I agree with.
The only thing you can do with a dude like Lindley is accentuate the positives and hope he gets over the negatives. Nothing to be gained by bashing on a practice squad player.
I don't think it's either/or. Coaches say all kinds of crap, doesn't make it true or even relevant.Again, why is it either false praise or bashing?
Of course he is but don't sit here and pretend this bum had a good game. This was the biggest game of his career and we still barely mustered 17 points. NONE in the second half. NONE.
we hadn't scored an offensive touchdown in how long?
BA is doing everything he can to encourage Lindley. What`s wrong with that?
This team won 10 games last year and 11 this year.
People wanna question him. Seriously smh
What's he supposed to say
My GOD our expectations are in the toilet.

BA is still a great coach but there is something to his complete denial on the Lindley situation. He does sound like Whiz from the standpoint that he makes a bad decision (IMO) to rely on RL, it's a bad one, and still tries to convince everyone it was a great decision. I have to give him props for his conviction on the decision.
