Whoever said baseball is 50% hitting and 50% pitching and 50% fielding was all wrong. Baseball is 50% ability and 50% psychology.

The Dbacks bullpen is in big trouble. Once you get a rep every team is going to be thinking, "If we can just get top the bullpen we have a shot." Conversely the Dbacks bullpen has a collective ZERO confidence level.

Dbacks abuse their pitchers with crappy pens, think of the seasons Randy, Curt, Webb, Haren, or even Batista or Davis could have had.

Lately our hitting is pretty sorry too. Between Byrnes, Young and Jackson.

Young has always hit for a garbage average, so this is nothing new. His power dropped last season and is dropping even more this year, along with his overly pathetic avg. Byrnes had two career years in '06 and '07 and isn't getting any younger at 33, so I doubt we see anything close to another 20+ HR/50+ SB season. CoJack's had valley fever which turned into pneumonia and hasn't played since May, so you can't really bag on him.
