Injury-hit Bayern Munich could be set for a fresh blow as the season reaches crunch time after defender Hiroki Ito re-injured his foot.
The Japan international missed most of the season with a broken foot and went down holding the same area in the 3-2 Bundesliga win over St Pauli on Saturday. Bayern had used all their substitutes - including Ito - so finished the game with 10.
"He felt something in the same foot where he had problems before," coach Vincent Kompany told reporters. "It is hard to say exactly what it is. He will have a scan and we'll see. It's not good for us."
Bayern are already without fellow defenders Alphonso Davies (cruciate knee ligament tear) and Dayot Upamecano (knee problem) long-term.
The Bundesliga leaders have a six-point advantage over Bayer Leverkusen with seven to play. Their Champions League quarter-final with Inter Milan is on April 8 and 16.
