A really good Cardinal fans website (Revenge of the Birds) posted an incredible YouTube reel of Beanie Wells highlights -ranging from every carry in the Mich and Penn State games to Beanie on Draft Day. Check it out. (Here's the linky)
Note - I was impressed by Beanie's power, his legendary stiff-arm and that he had enough breakaway speed to seldom get caught from behind. If there was one weakness in Beanie's game, I'd have to say it's that if the hole wasn't there, he seldom if ever could improvise his way out of being trapped in his own backfield. (To be fair, few big RB's have that knack - Edge being one of those few who could make lemon aid out of lemons). If Beanie does nothing else but improve that one aspect of his game, we'll really have something to get excited about.
