An 11-run outburst in the top of the second fueled Class 4A Camas to a statement 16-0 win over the Bearcats on Friday night at Recreation Park. In two games so far this season, they have allowed a combined 28 runs.
The Papermakers kickstarted the first with two runs before exploding for double figures in the second, most of the damage coming with one out. Avalon Myers was the lone W.F. West recorded two hits while the Bearcats had just four hits to five strikeouts and five strikeouts.
Tanner Tobin earned the start and battled through seven of the 11 hits being inside the park. Monroe Dalrymple finished her time in the circle with a pair of strikeouts. The Bearcats return to the field on Tuesday at Yelm.
