i joined but I dont get it. I see I can pick a team and IE to the right it just says 7. Not +7, -7, who the + or - is for and etc.

The 7 is for the overdog, the team on the left. So for NE and Pitt, NE is -7. You choose the team that will beat the spread, so if Pitt still loses but only by 3 and you picked NE to win, you lost that pick because Pitt beat the spread.

One side is for "Favorites" so they would be -7

It takes the total of your season and drops the lowest score. So if your season is going like this.

10 - 8 - 8 - 6 - 12. 6 is dropped out of the total points. So your total will be 38. It can help you or hurt you at the end of the season.

It's really so you aren't screwed if you forget to pick 1 week.

Vegas sure isn't amazed at how many people finish below the 50% mark. They make a very good living from it. hahaha
