Derek Jeter had a sore right knee was not in the starting lineup Sunday for the New York Yankees' game against the Detroit Tigers. "He's just beat up right now," manager Joe Torre said. "I talked to him yesterday and said it was best for him to have a day off." Jeter injured the knee during New York's previous series at the Los Angeles Angels.
