Has anyone seen this? I have been going to the gym 5 to 6 days a week. To help the time go during cardio I have been buying different shows that are on sale on Itunes. I got the whole first season for under 10 bucks. It was getting rave reviews in the reviews section. So far about 3 episodes in I am pleasantly surprised. The show is quite good and the acting is really good too.

If you get a chance check it out. Different but good.

It's funny, I just watched the first 1.5 episodes last night (fell asleep). I like it. It's no Supernatural, but it's good.

I have watched the entire series. I liked season 1...there are something going on now that are getting on my nerves. Good show though. There is an American version of the show in pre-production. I will be curious to see how this translates.

I never tried to look it up online, but when I heard Scyfy was airing it, I dvr-ed the show and checked it out. THEN I realized that it was a stupid Scyfy REMAKE, and watched the first season last night and tonight. Awesome stuff. I'll have to check Supernatural out now, because if you think it's definitely better than the BBC's Being Human, it must rock.

Supernatural took me about a season or two to REALLY get into, but even the early episodes were pretty good. But it's a couple seasons in that the over-arching story really starts to take hold.

I just watched the SciFi Being Human. I'll give it a couple more episodes, but the first one kind of fell flat for me.

The BBC version was the same way. I have been watching the BBC version and it took a while and the story line was a little disjointed. Some things have been kept from the BBC version and a few things changed but I am expecting our version to be a bit better. If they stick to the general story line form the BBC version then there should be some cool story lines coming up.

From the previews it seems they're going to stick to it story-for-story.

I'd rather have seen them just lift the concept and come up with original storylines. JMHO

My favorite BBC scifi show was Jeckyl. That was pretty friggin' awesome, I thought.

Well, if you watched the BBC version and think the Syfy version is better already, I have to take away your taste card. After 10 minutes of the Syfy one I was ready to yell at anyone and everyone that ever said I'd like the show. Then I realized it was a remake, started watching the real one, and realized what they meant.

I am not sure I can make that judgment yet. Some of the production values of the BBC show are horrid. Not that Syfy doesn't have a track record for cheese FX. It took a while for the cast members of the BBC show to grow on me and some of the episodes were drag out boring on the BBC version.

I will have to wait and see what I think overall. I can tell that the acting will probably be better in the BBC version but there are other things about the BBC version that bug me.

People still watching this? I LOVE the show...it's addicting and I think very well done. Nice cast...even the guest stars are great.

One of my new favs.

I stopped watching. Something about it just doesn't work for me. I liked it okay, but not enough to make room in my life (or DVR...same thing, I guess) for.

I sort of felt the same thing about the BBC version, except that I was watching it on DVD so it was digested in a weekend instead of waiting for each episode.

I admit. The American version is growing on me a bit. Also, they have changed a bit here and there when comparing the same story on the BBC version. I like the pacing much better on the American version so far. Like I stated above, sometimes the BBC version had part of episodes that were bore fests. Still holding out final judgment though to see how they handle the interesting story line finales that the BBC had.
