Stu Jackson, the NBA's executive vice president of basketball operations, rescinded the second technical foul that Raja Bell received Tuesday at Denver.
The NBA should replay Suns Nuggets game from the point Bell was ejected with the 2nd T... Why wouldn't we???

They replayed Miami Atlanta under similar sceanrio when Shaq was assessed an incorrect foul...?? This replay may have bigger implications... playoff seeding.

It's not the same thing. I'd kinda like to know why the ref t'd him up then.

I also think the league should pass a rule that when that happens the ref that screwed up will be suspended without pay. That will make them think several times before letting their ego make the calls.

Jeez, that ejection was huge. Bell is our best perimeter defender!

I can understand how a rescinded tech is different than incorrect counting for fouls, but they were both significant events, later found to be wrong, that deeply impacted the game.

And instead of 50 seconds left, it was damn near two quarters.

Well guys if we end up having to replay games because an ejection is overturned because of poor officiating, we'll never finish the season! :D

Or maybe the poor officiating will diminish.

These are very different circumstances.

In the MIA/ATL game the offical scorer, who is basically an employee of the Hawks mis-counted the fouls and said Shaq had 6 when he actually had 5. He was wrongfully disqualified from the game.

In Bells case they may have recinded the technical after the fact but the ref did call the tech and he was ejected according to the rules for that call.

Just because there is no replay doesn't mean that the Suns are getting screwed. Stuff like this happens all the time, it never results in a replay.

Bang on. One was a clerical error, the other was a judgement call. They'll never replay on a judgement call me thinks.

As a GSW fan, I would love the replay scenario...Currenlty if Dubs beat Den next week and the two tie at the end, the Warriors lose because Den would have a better conf. record.

Come on NBA, Do It!!!!

We’ve been getting a lot of BS technicals lately. In the Denver game, GG got a technical for swatting at the ball when Melo was trying to go for an and-1. Today, Shaq got a technical for trying to throw the ball off of Nowitzki out of bounds. And there was another game recently — I forget which — in which Nash was assessed a technical for calmly talking with a ref.

The Shaq tech was the most confusing call ever. I would really appreciate if the officiating would stop being a "growing problem."

It was already pathetic enough.

If the ball had hit him anywhere else but in the face, I think that it doesn't get called.
