Beltran signs with St. Louis

Free-agent outfielder Carlos Beltran has agreed to a two-year contract worth $26 million with the St. Louis Cardinals, sources told Yahoo! Sports on Thursday.

As part of the deal Beltran received a full no-trade clause.

Interesting signing. If his health is working in his favor again, he's a nice alternate pickup. Has some pop in his bat and can drive in the runs on an adequate level.
