The Cincinnati Bengals usually keep it pretty simple during the NFL draft when it comes to trades.

Going into the 2025 NFL draft, though, the Bengals have a pair of trade requests hanging over their heads and at least one other interesting candidate who might have some value if they work the phones.

Here's a quick look at three notable Bengals trade candidates during the draft itself.

WR Jermaine Burton

The Bengals are not in the business of giving up on notable draft picks. But the Bengals have made it very clear Burton is on his last chance. After Andrei Iosivas behind the big three, there's Charlie Jones and even Isaiah Williams and Kendric Pryor. If some team comes calling, thinking itself capable of unlocking Burton's major potential, will the Bengals say no despite potentially cutting him this summer anyway?

LB Germaine Pratt

It's very hard to imagine any team wants to trade for Pratt at his age and cap hit ($7.9 million), especially when looking at last year's film, the missed tackles and everything else. The fact that it seems obvious the Bengals could cut him if they can't find a trade partner drives down the possible return, too. But again, it takes just one team.

DE Trey Hendrickson

There's almost zero percent chance this happens, even if they take a Round 1 edge rusher. But we'd be remiss not to touch on the situation anyway.

After a failed retirement threat last year and the granted trade request that didn't turn up a deal this year, the Bengals hold pretty much all the leverage over Hendrickson right now. He has one year left on his deal and is extremely unlikely to sit out at the age of 30.

If a team offers a first-round pick during the opening night, the Bengals might think about it, sure. But losing a Round 1 selection for an aging defensive end and then needing to pay him $30 million or more a year just hasn't been all that appetizing for teams even in desperate need of pass-rushing help.
