NBA 08 is coming out tomorrow, do you think it'll be as successful as it was last year?

I like both nba games but I will buy nba2k8 this year because I was a huge fan of 2k7. However both nba live and nba2k will good and better in certain areas

Yo Boldin'! There was actually 3 NBA b-ball game releases last week. I was actually talkin' about PlayStation's NBA 08, which I would describe as nothing shy of awesome. It's available on PS2, PS3, and PSP but the PS3 version is where it's at: HD 1080p capability, more animations, more graphic realism...it's all there.

NBA08 is garbage. all the game sites give it like a 5 or 6 out of 10.
i used to be an nba live guy untill i tried 2k7. was pretty much blown away by the realism. marion shoots like marion would. nash licks his fingers on the way down the court. ducan shoots his banks shots.
go to a couple of game sites like IGN.com and gamespot and see what they have to say.

I will try then all out but if I was a betting man I would say that NBA2k series will still retain the crown. None of the other basketball games have even been close. I used to be a big NBA Live fan but EA has really gone in the tank with its sports franchises IMO.

Although I've had a chance to play NBA 08, NBA Live 08, and 2K8, I know more about NBA 08 than the others. Yeah, like Josh said, the realism on 2K8 is cool but the game play just doesn't seem to match up to PlayStation's NBA 08. I feel like I have more control over the players in NBA 08 especially in light of the Key Control System that they've included this year. The other thing that's hot is that for online league play you can have up to 32 teams per league as well as download the NBA's true roster and play with that day's actual line-up.
