Rams host Falcons

IMO, the 9ers have the best shot at grabbing a very important W... while the Cards will lose their 5th in a row, and the Hags & Rams will go down in defeat as well.
This means that the Hags will retain the lead slot in the West with a 5 & 5 record. The Rams drop to 4 & 6, the 9ers move up to 4 & 6 and the Cards are alone in the basement at 3 & 7....

However, the following week Seattle hosts the Chiefs and will most likely lose. The Rams travel to Denver and could steal a W there. And then there is the Monday nighter, 9ers travel to UoP to face off against our Cards... On that previous Sunday, the Hags will have lost to KC and will drop to 5 & 6. The Rams will have won in Denver and will move to 5 & 6. Which means, pitifully, that if the Cards grab a miracle and somehow beat the 9ers on that Monday night, they and the 9ers will both sit one game back of the Hags and Rams.

The 2 losses to Seattle is gonna haunt this team for the rest of the season... Still haven't gotten over that loss this past Sunday. Still can't believe how poorly our defense played. Still can't believe how badly outcoached we were.

I wouldn't be so sure about the Falcons beating the Rams. Turner is out and I doubt Snelling is going to look like Jim Brown against anyone but us.

This team will probably finish 4-12. The 2 losses to Seattle mean nothing IMO. They just aren't good enough & didn't play well enough against the Hawks to even be in contention!!! We're very lucky we aren't 1-8 at this point (Raiders & Lambs).

I actually hope you're right.

Where have you heard Turner is going to be out? I haven't seen that anywhere.

Actually he has been doing quite well against a bunch of teams beside us.

But, I believe it has to do with the offensive line more than the RB.

We need the entire team to have that. If its only the strating lineup we will make career days out of backups as per usual.

true,.some undrafted walk on RB will rush for 400 yds and 5 TD's,....while the punter, who played QB in grade school,...throws for 500 and 5 TD's.
all the while our coaching staff is at a total loss as to how to stop these NFL Dynamos,...lol

I don't know how anyone can predict (or is it hope?) we win Sunday. We've had no-name backs tear us to shreds this year and KC has Jamaal Charles and Thomas Jones; Charles averages 6.0 ypc (6.0!!) and Jones averages a "paltry" 4.1 ypc. Combined they have 1333 yards rushing this year already and 5 touchdowns. I predict a long day for our D, out on the field all day, wearing down and giving up--again--time of possession. The only way to combat that is to score early and get up on them, but we all know we don't have the QB to do that.

A depressing picture you paint but very accurate. We will have no answer for that run game. Charles very shifty and our D can't tackle.

Theoretically on any given Sunday, but the game is going on about oh 8 miles from my house and I have better things to do than go to another arse whooping.

Last time I was there, was when Jake got benched for Josh in some God awful drubbing, so I'll just pass on this one and see if it brings them luck, I doubt it.

Well, as expected, the Cards took care of part I. We'll soon see if the other three teams follow suit... :bang:

Kinda like I thought it would be... We somehow pull out a miracle tomorrow night and in true Crazy Cards fashion, we're still alive... We lose tomorrow night and the towel gets tossed in. At that point, sit Anderson and gow tih Skelton. Start Washington. Start Schofield. And hope we nail our draft picks next year!!
