Vandy thrashed South Carolina and Steve Spurrier in the 2nd half to pull the upset. Loved it.

Vandy is a fine institution. But Spurrier is a has-been who has lost it. His team was ranked #24 for only one reason: it was in the SEC.

College football. Better than the NFL. Every year.

That game was about ten times better than the Giants-Skins snoozefest. And, yes, I enjoy watching Spurrier lose.

Can you imagine if Vandy ever won the SEC title? That'd be just an amazing accomplishment. Much more miraculous than Northwestern going to the Rose Bowl.
