Samaki Walker might have something left too...

Tractor may be the only guy in the NBA that Jahidi White could beat in a foot race. But if he's cheap enough, he certainly qualifies as a "big body".

IMO Kevin Willis would be a great addition for this team.

WOW! Loren Woods lead the Summer league in blocks... with 16 total at 3.2 per game. Bring him and Wright to play for the Suns.

Now if we could only trade for Arenas and Jefferson, then sign Gardner as a FA. ;)

Gotta love those Summer league stats.

Sean Rooks would be good for five fouls against the better centers.

So will Vroman be our enforcer this year? I would have loved to have an enforcer last year to take out that idiot Maverick that leveled Cabarkapa.
Doleac might be a good pickup if we can get him cheap.

it's sad, but this old fossil would immediately be the best center in the Phoenix Suns rotation. Barring injury I think he , Jake Voskuhl, and Lampe could hold down the center spot. They would still probably constitute the weakest center rotation in the NBA, but at least they would be better.

I agree that there are weaker center rotations than the Suns', but this is not one of them. Even when he sucks, Olowokandi is better than Voskuhl -- and keep in mind that I like Voskuhl.

yeah, kandi man is better then voskuhl... I was one of the ones who wanted to get kandi last off season... he had a sucky year, but I would still rather have him then voskuhl.

Olowokandi reminds me far too much of Joe Barry Carroll (aka Joe Barely Cares) and Benoit Benjamin. These guys would look fantastic one game and disappear the next. Carroll only wanted to shoot and stopped worrying about defense and rebounding. Benjamin would dominate Kareem one night and get overwhelmed by some nobody the next.

Olowokandi simply lacks the "fire the belly" that it takes to be really good. He is just too lazy to do what it takes. Jake has less talent, but Jake never stops playing as hard as he can. Most of the time that makes him more effective than the Kandi man.

Convince Dice

Can't we send Jason Kidd, George McCloud and Rex Chapman to Detroit and try to talk McDyess out of signing that contract. Sorry that was Denver, I was having a flashback.

Ervin Johnson isn't a great center, but I would take him over any center that is presently on the Phoenix Suns' roster. It isn't just the center rotations and is lacking. They also don't have a good backup power forward.

Unfortunately, the summer league game I'm presently watching is making that painfully clear.

The only thing worse than having little guys play center is having big lazy guys play center.
