Arizona Cardinals head coach Dennis Green said offensive lineman Leonard Davis will be moved to offensive left guard in 2004.

Now this is very interesting....very, very interesting. LJ Shelton never played better than when Pete Kendall was beside him. This move will make them both Pro-Bowlers......but what the hell are we gunnna do on the right side of the 0-Line?

I'd bet a lot of your money that we won't move Kendall over. I really don't see us addressing this issue "in house", so that tells me that this will be taken care of in free agency.

I'm guessing Villareal signing here is a done deal. No doubt, that would improve this line.

Everyone who is a Card fan should follow ajcardfans' advice and go over to this site.....there is a plethora of "Cardinalisms" from coach Green about players like Freddie Jones and others.....it really is a must read....thx ajcardfan.

I wasn't saying that Kendall was going to move back to LG.....rather was following your lead and saying that if Davis moved over to LG then both he and LJ Shelton would become Pro Bowlers......the bottom line here is that Shelton needs a SOLID LG in order to be as effective as he can be.

Oh, I knew you weren't saying that. I was just anticipating the inevitable posts (by Walter Mitchell for example) that Kendall should move back to G and we then draft/sign a center.

I realize he probably wont but if he did I couldn't say that I'd mind that guy is a stud.

RT LJ, LT RG ......... Big as a guard... Kendall as a guard and a new center and then you could make a case that we could physically just thrash any teams d line.
