1st. let's savor the win....I know it'll make this whole week more enjoyable. :)

Ok! I missed the 1st 49ers' game so I can't gauge Skelton's play in that one, but it just seems from the times I have seen him play, that Skelton's game is MOST effective w/passes 20+ down the field. Especially since his passes seem to sail on a consistent basis. I don't know if he'll ever develop "touch" on the short, mid-range throws but if the coaches play to his strengths I think he can move a team to the tune of about 20 points a game. With our "D" playing solid I think that's enough to win most games.

Thoughts? GO CARDS! Looking forward to next week's game. Browns/Cardinals. A classic "blast from the past". :D

One other thought...PLEASE get LSH the ball more in the open field.
GOOD THINGS always happen!

I am all over the place with Skelton. Just when you have about had it with him he makes a play. The high throws come from throwing off his back foot many times.

He came up big today and we won. I am going to enjoy this all week.

Wonderful game by the Cards.

Pocket presence is strength, and he is hard to bring down. He made a couple nice escapes today. And he doesn't get down when he makes a mistake. So, there are some.

I agree with the down the field stuff about Skelton. If the Cardinals can get a consistent deep threat he can get the ball there in a hurry and really spread the field. I think he will develop touch with time. He reminds me somewhat of Ben Roethlisberger in the way he can evade and shrug off tacklers. And he has that big arm.

He seems better off when he can just get in there and play. Maybe when he starts he's overthinking it.

Whatever, I'm happy as hell with how he played today. I don't care who starts as long as we keep winning.

I thought the 30 yard touch pass to LSH on 4th and 2 in Philly was a thing of beauty...

Yep, that was the pass of the year so far. Took some serious gumption to go with that read, and the degree of difficulty on that type of touch pass was huge. I was in a sports bar just outside of Philly at the time, and man did I have a llllotttt to say after that completion. I don't believe the locals cared for me much.....
