MADISON – The NCAA Tournament bracket is set, but the pollsters got one more chance to weigh in which men’s college basketball teams are the best in the land.

When it comes to Wisconsin, its run to the championship game of the Big Ten tournament carried some weight.

The Badgers made notable jumps in both major top 25 polls.

They moved up four spots to No. 10 in the USA Today Coaches poll and climbed five spots to No. 13 in the Associated Press ranking.

The top-10 ranking is a first for the Badgers this season. They were ranked No. 11 in both polls Dec. 2 and Feb. 17 and held the No. 11 spot in the AP poll Feb. 24.

The Badgers (26-9) defeated Northwestern, UCLA and Michigan State last week to reach the final before falling to Michigan on Sunday.

Wisconsin is one of six Big Ten teams ranked. Here is where the rest of the conference stands: Michigan State (No. 8 Associated Press/No.7 USA Today coaches), Maryland (11/12), Michigan (14/15), Purdue (22/22), Oregon (25/not ranked).
