I wonder if he goes by Billy for a reason :)

The rainouts really played havok with the rotation, here's hoping Buckner can keep the ball in the park. 7 ER in 4 innings isn't exactly setting the world on fire

Not to mention flying from Miami to Oakland with no day off.

Playing again with little sleep and no rest is tough but doable. Riding the bus through Oakland going to the stadium is the real hazard.

Unusual win. Buckner starting and Raush closing. Recipe for disaster, but worked in the end.

5-2 road trip thus far. Can we just play like winners for the rest of the season and forget about April/1st half of May?

AJ Hinch... "The Mad Scientist" haha

Thank you, Jesus. I didn't want to be the first to bring up the managerial change again because I didn't want Ryan to think I was jumping on him for his remarks about the clubhouse not being behind Hinch.

This success may not continue but so far it looks like most of the players are trying harder. A bunch of Hinch's unorthodox moves have paid off. Winning always cures everything. We'll see.

5-2 on the trip although the fact that we have not played strong teams makes me cautious about celebrating this recent success.

We were getting swept by bad teams at home a month ago. I am very encouraged.

As we've found out, the GM is the Mad Scientist who chooses who plays and when and where. He just has a new assistant.

But it must be said Hinch has more intelligence and common sense than Melvin ever had.

So far, we've gone from a D-minus to a D-plus. Let's see how far that can increase.

O/T I thought yesterday's game was a loss when I looked at the box score late. Imagine my shock to see the Diamondbacks pulled out the win in extras.:rockon:
