When asked if the rumors of his demise were true, he went on record as saying: "Lets not go there"

When asked about his future as an Arizona Cardinal, "Lets not go there"

When told that many experts still feel he has a strong arm and could possibly still be a starting QB in this league, "Lets go there"

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
This is what he really said today............

"You can't trust anybody, no matter what they say or think," Blake said. "I learned that a long time ago. They'll smile in your face and stab you in the back."

"I played the best I could with what I had," Blake said. "I played hard. If they don't want me, someone else will. That's the way this business is. You have to keep ballin'."

"Maybe something will happen to me like it did for Jake Delhomme," Blake said, referring to Carolina quarterback, who helped the Panthers to the Super Bowl in his first year with the team.

Sure Blake ....Keep dreaming....Baller

The Delhomme part I can laugh at, but the first part I have a hard time not agreeing with Blake. Afterall Green openly praised him while at ESPN, openly praised him after taking the job, and now cuts him.

Without knowing what happened, it's logical now to assume there was some parting of the ways. So I can agree with Blake that in effect Green DID tell him one thing and then do another.

Now I'm willing to give Green the benefit of the doubt and assume he had a logical reason to do this, and has a plan.

And if he'd have ripped him on ESPN, hated him while evaluating film and cut him Blake would say he "wasn't given a fair chance" Proof's in the pudding..... He did nothing with his chance here last year.

I wonder if Blake was demanding that he be the starter and Green wouldn't so he cut him.

That would be my assumption also. Plus, he wanted to send a message that no job is safe.
