The Oregon Ducks held their 2025 pro day in Eugene on Tuesday with a pair of NFL quarterbacks in attendance.
Bo Nix, now of the Denver Broncos, and Justin Herbert, now of the Los Angeles Chargers, returned to their old college program to support the next generation of pro Ducks.
Nix played with several of Oregon's current draft prospects, and wide receiver Tez Johnson was taken in by the Nix family when he was 15. Herbert's younger brother, Patrick, is a tight end with the Ducks.
"I think that speaks to Oregon and what it's built, and the family ties — that one person comes and the experience is so good, somebody else wants to come," Nix told Rob Moseley of Oregon's official website. "And this is an elite development program. Oregon speaks for itself; everybody wants to come out here and play. So it's an exciting time."
In addition to Johnson, two other former Nix teammates who could interest the Broncos are tight end Terrance Ferguson and running back Jordan James. Ferguson is considered a Day 2 candidate and James is a late-round prospect.
Denver holds seven picks in this year's NFL draft, held in Wisconsin from April 24-26.
