So true. This is an odd time of year to change the name of a stadium, too. I bet the announcers would have liked at least an offseason to get used to it.

Agreed. Chase Field although stemming from a sponsorship actually sounds like a traditional baseball stadium name. BOB was the NL West equivalent of Minute Maid Park or US Cellular Field. Now if only they could just renovate the circus tent/airplane hangar feel out of the place.
