The BCS has been around since the 1998 season.

Stoops's Oklahoma teams won the Orange Bowl over Florida State 13-2 to finish 13-0 and win the national title after the 2000 season. After the 2002 season, Oklahoma won the Rose Bowl over Washington St. I believe that Oklahoma has lost their last four BCS games, however.

VA Tech has never won a BCS game in it's current form.
