Suns are my Kryptonite!
While the crowd didn't get much of a thrill from the home team, Anthony at least gave the fans a show.
The 6-foot-8 forward, who left Syracuse after one season, scored 19 points, took down 11 rebounds, handed out three assists and made 9 of 15 shots. He hit from the outside, and he took the ball down on the post.
Cleveland's LeBron James is going to get far more hype. Detroit's Darko Milicic will probably win more games this season. But Anthony, who was drafted behind James and Milicic, may prove to be the best of the three.
I remember prior to the draft you guys saying I was crazy to rate Melo over James and Darko. i am glad to see Bob Young has my back. I still say Melo has the ROY this year. Sounds like Melo is putting up Marion type numbers already as a rookie. No, I wouldn't want to draft another Shawn Marion.
