New York Knicks forward Bobby Portis took a wild swing in an effort to block a shot on Tuesday night at the Staples Center, one that resulted in his ejection from their matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers sent Kentavious Caldwell-Pope flying to the ground. Caldwell-Pope was breaking to the hoop midway through the second quarter when Portis came from behind and swung wildly, likely in an attempt to hit the ball away. He was well off the mark, however, and connected squarely with Caldwell-Pope's head as he was in the air after winding back, knocking him to the ground.
