Boise State to the Mountain West?

There has been some rumors of a upcoming invite. What does everyone think about it?

Obvously the teams at the top are much better than the wac, but the conference has a terrible TV deal. Right now, Boise state is on ESPN 4-5 times a year and is getting lots of recruits from all over the country becuase of their exposure and winning reputation. The mountain west might mean more respect in terms of the national perception, but I think the TV thing would be a bad deal. So many big games are on their own channel that not many people have.

Over the last 10 or so years, Boise State has gone 12-0 against the conference, so I think we would do fine.

Well, you'd be in a conference with Utah, BYU, TCU - much tougher football wise. I wouldn't expect many undefeated seasons.

It would be a good move, I think. The stronger the conference, the more revenue, respect, TV games and bowl games for the members.
