It wasn't fake, it was yesterdays headline taken fron their website.
If it was fake I would have said so.
Their paper is only twenty five cents, here is a link to todays paper. See for yourself.

Interesting, I stand corrected then. I remember the NYP in the 90's being 40c. I had no idea that they would bring the price down.

Funny then, not fake.

There's an article on there about Chipper Jones stating that A-Rod will go through the same questions if he gets close to breaking the record, and this is at the end of the article:

"Yeah, and I know he's worked very, very, very hard to get where he's at," Jones said. "Not that Barry or Hank or Babe [Ruth] didn't. But you don't see Alex being called in front of grand juries and stuff. Hopefully nothing comes of it."
Like they needed to point out that the "Babe" he was referring to was Babe Ruth...it's a good thing they did, or I'd have been sitting here debating if it was some other baseball great called "Babe". How incredibly stupid.

I thought for a minute the famous pig had started a baseball career.

FYI they ran an identical cover when he passed Ruth, with the needles so this was funny but not original.
