Some games I watched I could really tell no difference between the old and the new. In the Cards game the refs seemed confused at times and could have changed the outcome on that blown extra timeout.

Besides, I'm not booing men trying to do a difficult job the best they can with little training.

They weren't good, but I don't have any respect for what the regular refs are asking for. Rich men asking to become more rich and insulated...to preform a part-time job that they're already making more money at each year than most of Americans.

Here's my hope: the replacement refs get better and they get the "replacement" tag removed.

That was as an atrocious a job in all aspects of officiating that I can ever remember.

How long was the game in real time - nearly four hours, wasn't it?

If the game were any longer, John Skelton's ankle would have fully recovered before it was over.

You can bet your ass we will also get the lowest rated replacement refs as well.
