The 47-19 Boston Celtics will make the trip to Florida's Kaseya Center to take on the 29-36 Miami Heat on Friday (March 14) night as they look to get back into the win column after dropping a game at their home arena of TD Garden this past Wednesday (March 12) evening.
The Celtics will be doing so with a fairly long injury report of key players that is more likely indicative of the late date in the NBA's 2024-25 and the team's likely interest in resting said players ahead of the 2025 NBA Playoffs than it is anything serious. Still, Boston will need to respect their opponent if they don't want to drop this late-campaign tilt.
Let's take a look at player health for both teams, likely starters, and how to watch or stream the game.
For the Celtics, Kristaps Porzingis (illness), Jayson Tatum (knee), Derrick White (knee), and Jaylen Brown (knee) are questionable, and Al Horford (toe) is probable..
For the Heat, Alec Burks (back), Nikola Jovic (hand), and Dru Smith (Achilles) are all out.
