Has anyone watched this? If you haven't done bother, it is a terrible, terrible show.

Meltzer may be the worst host in the history of tv. He has no inflection and is so boring I wanted to take a nap.

I may be a little biased since the episode I saw was about the end of the world and I can't stand that type of stuff. If you believe Nostradamus actually predicted something show it to me before it happens. I can write something down and then spin it to make it sound correct.

Anyways, back to the show. Meltzer is boring and the three people who go out and try to figure out the shows topic (Meltzer spends the entire show in front of a green screen) are nearly as boring. They keep asking stupid questions and then reacting like it is the most shocking piece of news ever.

I have to agree for the most part. I have only watched the first three episodes so far, and while I like the topics and find some the "facts" interesting, the presentation is really forced. I haven't read one of Meltzer's books, but if he writes the way he narrates this show ("If the Statue of Liberty is really a sign for Satan, I wanna know!") then his books suck.

agree. i really want to like the show b/c i like the premise. but my god is it portrayed awfully. i get it, i get it, the chick is always skeptical, the attorney is always open, and the fat guy is just a doofus. they get an answer to their question. and they talk to some real lame-ass people.

the civil war gold history was interesting, the search was not.
