This is not bad news thats for sure. He should never have been a starter in the first place. He's not even good backup material.

Does it really matter where you put Levi? He will underachieve anywhere he goes IMO.

?????????????????????????????????

What in the heck happened there?

I don't agree with him not being starter material at all. First year out there and he has improved as this season has gone on, and to improve amongst this mess shows some resolve, IMO.

I don't remember him getting hurt.

Now we are stuck with Levi Brown at LT. It will be nice to see Bridges out there tho.

I think Fanaca should go on the IR also and put in Hadnot at RG. Bench Levi and bring up Pestock for Keith and start him at LT. Lets play the young guys and see what we have.

Damn. After a terrible start he definitely was showing improvement. He needed the experience to improve further though (wonder who'll be the first to reply in a "funny" way).

I'm still a believer in Keith.

Give the guy a break. He started off poorly but that was to be expected. Sorry to hear he is hurt as I definately saw improvement.

Wrong. He had a rough start, but was beginning to play pretty well. He's definitely been superior to Levi over the last couple games, and a much better long term project.

Brandon Keith was just coming into his own. Its a shame that he is hurt. Does anyone know when it happened and what kind of injury it is?

This hurts a little for this year, although it hardly matters with the season continuing to dissolve. But, more importantly, Keith was one of the few young guys we were actually developing. With Washington senselessly going back to the bench, we are now left with Toler as our only first year starter.

We're not rebuilding. We're reliving the past.

We must be watching different games. Keith had a mediocre start and regressed.

We won't even notice he's out Sunday.

I agree, he has played better than early on.

While I appreciate you're keen eye for talent, I'll have to agree with Ben Muth on Keith:

"Of all the offensive linemen I've watched play this year I think Brandon Keith has improved the most. I was really concerned after the preseason and first couple of games (the Chargers game being the low point). He gave up a couple of sacks and even more hits and looked almost lost in the process. But he has since found his rhythm and has become a serviceable starting tackle. His pass protection has improved dramatically, and his run blocking has remained strong."

I can't imagine how you think he was mediocre and regressed. He was bad, and got to the point where he was a decent starter.
