Brandon Keith: gave up 3 pressures and a sack in 31 snaps.

Jeremy Bridges: 0 pressures in 45 snaps.

Shouldn't even be a question as to who is starting, but I am more than expecting the coaching staff to trot out Grimm's worthless project if he is healthy. I hope Grimm gets offered a better coaching job somewhere, he is the definition of overrated.

PFF's breakdown of the game. Dockett was a force.

Its amazing how the management just sits infront of their screens playing "angry birds" cardinal style instead of actually evaluating the talent on the roster.

It's pretty evident Bridges is superior to Keith, and even Levi to a certain extent. The only possible explanation for Bridges not starting is the personal foul concern, however, I would much rather have 1 personal foul/game if it meant we wouldn't have the worst OT duo in the league.

I'll take Bridges and one 15 yard penalty a game over at least 15 yards in sacks (plus the chance of kolb getting killed) and numerous pressures disrupting plays from the other two clowns we have at tackle. Ugh.

That's true, on a sack we lose the yards, the down, and possibly a fumble or an injured QB.

What is with PFF's hate against Dockett? They say he just broke out last week. :lmao:

Bridges to LT, Levi to RT.

Our line would be ten times better with that move.

so, that means we will never do it. :bang:

My guess is that Deuce is hungry (no pun intended) and athletic enough to be converted to a T...at least he wont be beat every play or pushed back on his ass

I've been a Keith proponent on this board, based on some of the games he had last year, but he has clearly struggled this year.

Part of that is due to his recovery from the knee injury he sustained last year. He's been having his knee drained on a weekly basis, and is clearly not healthy yet from the knee injury.

I still think he can develop into a quality NFL lineman. When he struggles, it's due to technique issues NOT ability. The jury is still out on him IMO, but I don't want to see us cast him off, only to see him go some where else and become a very good RT.

Most of our issues are coming from LT; I in agreeance with the idea to start Bridges at LT and move Brown to RT....but I wouldn't necessarily start Brown at right tackle.

If Keith is being drained every week, he needs a scope and to sit for a few weeks.

If Keith is having trouble playing to 100% because of his knee then it would make sense to start Bridges and let the kids knee heal. So I wonder why that didn't happen to start the season. Its not like Bridges is Chris Dishman or Fred Wakefield.

Deuce against speed rushers? That would be ugly.

Brandon Keith was atrocious last year and has been this year... and is injury prone. wasting any more time with him as anything but a back-up makes zero sense to me.

and i'm with Donald... at the bye, plug Levi back at RT, put Bridges in at LT and re-assemble some semblance of the line that helped get us to the playoffs in 2009.

won't happen, but a man can dream, right?

my favorite thing after a game where Bridges came in and the offense all of sudden turned road-graders, when Wiz was asked how Bridges did he answered "Ok." This after saying how solid our Ts had played this season while playing some of the worst football i've ever seen. dude's more and more out to lunch of just flat out stubborn and it's costing the team at this point.

"1) Turnstile tackles
.
Levi Brown and Brandon Keith seem intent on matching themselves stride for stride in terms of allowing pressure and being generally beaten on the edge like red-headed stepchildren. The only thing that might break the deadlock is that Brown seems to be somehow immune from the bench, whereas Keith was yanked in this game after 31 snaps of poor play to be replaced by Jeremy Bridges. After four weeks of the season, the pair actually rank dead last and next to last in our Pass Blocking Efficiency figures for offensive tackles. Arizona can’t continue to play through this kind of performance."

Hilarious if it weren't infuriating.

Their analysis of Kolb is quite similar to many here as well...

2) Kolb getting happy feet?
.
I’m not sure if this is something inherent in Kevin Kolb, or if the play of the line in front of him is starting to have an effect, but Kolb was displaying a worrying pattern of happy feet in this game. It seemed pretty much impossible to convince him to stay in the pocket – even when pressure wasn’t coming – and by continually rolling out, he was putting himself in poor position to find receivers, inviting unblocked pressure, and causing the need for him to throw away five balls. His -0.8 Grade for the game represents a pretty awful performance from a quarterback, and you’ve got to hope that the Cardinals remember he’s a young passer who needs protection to develop.

They must not research enough to have seen that keith got injured, not pulled.

That's all you got from the paragraph? Injury/ineffectiveness wasn't obvious from watching the game. Either would be likely suspects.

sure most of it is right but that is 100% incorrect. The true fact is, Keith would still be in and whiz quoted this week that keith weill go in if healthy.

Sure it was right, he was yanked, it was just due to injury. It was also true that he had 31 snaps of poor play. The implication may have been incorrect but the wording was still literally accurate.

Quote that involves babies and bathwater comes to mind...

I was confused from day one when Keith was being some how seen as a starting tackle in this league. Never seen what people see in him, even to go as far as some saying he could be really good. Vague statements that he is is big and has the quicks to do well. Not as much as the opinion of this board but Grimm Inc.
