Thoughts in chronological order:

1. "We are maybe not quite done, but almost done with our summer work." Ok. What does that mean? They cannot sign any more FA's. Any other free agent work would be more of a camp invite type of situation. Trade? PJ Tucker? Markieff?

2. Rough year last year. Team lacked maturity, leadership and professionalism. Wow. Candid comment from Babby especially about professionalism. That is a slap in the face of the Morris twins almost exclusively--maybe Tucker for the DUI.

3. Knight really wanted to be here. He thought the offer was good and accepted immediately without testing the market. He did not even test the market while he was waiting for the Suns to do other deals. He participated in the recruitment of Tyson and then of LMA. I really hope this guy becomes a star. This is they type of person that you want to be the star of your team.

4. "We'll make it work." These are the exact words he used talking about the 2 pg system with Bledsoe. He spoke highly of Bledsoe, but it was clear that he is willing to do it, has done it, thinks it will work, but there is still some hesitation.

5. "We had too many." Horny's comment on the 2 pg system last year. That was revealing. He admits the signing of IT was a mistake from a chemistry perspective. I wonder if they expected to s&t Bledsoe. Anyway. Horny talked about the importance of each pg being "the one guy" when the other one sits. To me, this means that he sees Weems, Booker, and Archie as the guys off the bench and not Price. Price is going to get alot of DNP's unless there is injury.

Similar take away on Knight. The kid has the right attitude to lead a team and set the standard for other guys.

Really hope he blossoms here and becomes an All-Star in the West. Would do a lot for this team going forward and also make Bledsoe a possible trade candidate if they decide to shake things up.

Knight just might end up being the guy in the back court. I really hope Bledsoe and Knight can gel into something formidable thought if this 2 PG system is the way they are going.

What I like about Horny's comments is that we were missing leadership and when Knight came here the guys were willing to let him lead them. Also sounds negative going for Bledsoe and Dragic.
