Outside of Jonathan Broxton of the Dodgers, there isn't a more effective middle reliever in all of MLB.

He sucks as a closer but he's been lights out this season, nice to have some stability in the bullpen

I agree 100%. People have been hard on him in the past but IMO he's our best reliever. I would say he has arguably the best curve in major league baseball. Lyon has great stuff, always has, and lets hope he can stay healthy.

Broxton is impressive but he reminds me a little of Valverde. He throws very hard but can walk batters and get touched up here and there. He is still an impressive talent nonetheless (6'5 290lbs )

He had great stuff tonight. I loved it when they came out to check the mound after he slipped and he sort of shooed everyone away and said "let's keep the game going."
