Brandon Rush pulls out of NBA draft

Color me surprised but he's pulled out. I think he would have been a first rounder. Have to admit I've been wrong on him 2 years in a row I thought he was gone last year and he didn't even declare.

Nice to see good players stick around.

So that makes Georgetown(HIbbert staying) and Kansas much stronger now,
along with UNC, UCLA and a few other schools.

ACL although ESPN says he may be back by Novmember or December. Says he hurt the knee on Thursday, and pulled out of the draft the next day.

Kansas' Rush Tears ACL

Kansas guard Brandon Rush tore his ACL in his right knee, meaning he may not play for the Jayhawks until December, a high-ranking Kansas source told ESPN.com Monday night.

The school expects to see a final review of Rush's MRI Tuesday. The test results were sent to a Denver specialist over the weekend. An announcement is due Tuesday or early Wednesday from the school.

Rush injured his ACL Thursday during a pickup game and then withdrew from the NBA draft Friday afternoon.
