Heard it announced over the loudspeaker at the AZFL game today. However, it isn't announced until tomorrow, officially -- so either this was a strange joke, or someone let the cat out of the bag. They said Johann Santana in the AL; also said Jeter/Justin Morneau for AL MVP, Ryan Howard for NL MVP.

There was an internet vote for these at basballprospectus.com that had Webb winning the Cy. Pujols however, won the MVP. The others were on except Maur was second to Jeter. Can only speculate what you heard was someones hunches. No place else has these reported anywhere.

I wonder -- they made special announcements, and stated the names as fact. I recall some people in the Suns and in the local media knew about Nash and Diaw announcements a couple days ahead.
