Braves have scored the least number of runs in MLB, while the Dbacks have given up the most... And we end up with a high scoring thriller to open up the series...

A win and a Goldy walk off!! Yaaaay.

With that said, Burgos sucks and Lamb was 0-4 with 6 left on base in this game. He has fallen off the face of the earth this month.

It's hard to understand with our pitching staff as good as it is.

Impressive - thanks for posting that Dude

He's making his $11.5 million per year salary much more attractive! His BA, RBI and OPS numbers still lag...however, his second half has given us all cause for optimism. Should be very, very interesting to see if he can carry this into next year and then hopefully, produce when games actually matter... IMHO, the jury is still out on the kid, but, whereas just a few months ago I wanted him shipped out, I am not willing to give him a bit more time to prove he belongs in the bigs...

As far as RBI's - that is really out of his control. You have to get men on base before he can hit them in.

Post All-Star Break, after he worked on his swing, his BA is .299 and OPS is over 1.000

He's batting .236 and has an OPS of .761 with Runners in Scoring Position... that's with 106 Plate Appearances, so not exactly a small sample size...
He's had a fantastic second half. And he's still young with minimal to no time in the minors. Next season will be very crucial for him and the team...

Jake lamb didn't have an 0-fer and had a 2 rbi hit today! Will this be the moment he ends his epic 2 for 50+ at bat slump? Stay tuned?
