Braves' Hanson to DL, McCann activated (AP)

The Braves placed right-hander Tommy Hanson on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Aug. 7, with right shoulder tendinitis Sunday. Atlanta activated catcher Brian McCann from the disabled list. McCann, returning from a strained left oblique, is starting in Sunday's game against the Chicago Cubs.
