Braves' Hanson to have shoulder checked (AP)

Braves RHP Tommy Hanson has returned to Atlanta to have his right shoulder re-evaluated by team doctors. Hanson has been on the disabled list since Aug. 7 because of right rotator cuff tendinitis. Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez said Thursday that Hanson "is frustrated" and may have tried to return from the injury too quickly.
